WHO IS ADRIAAN KRAUSE

Adriaan was born in PTA and raised in the East Rand by both parents where he went to school at HTS Springs. Adriaan first learned to play guitar at 17 years of age.

He received his first guitar when he came to Cape Town (Paarl) for a family vacation. While on vacation Adriaan met his aunt’s friend for the first time and he gave Adriaan his first guitar with a sheet with all the chords. He told Adriaan, ‘If you can play 2 songs by the end of the week, you can have it.’

THE JOURNEY

After performing for 13 years, Adriaan was given the opportunity to perform all over the country with various artist such as, Chis Cameleon, Ray Daylen, Bok van Blerk, Emo Adams, Liani May, Karlien van Jaarsveldt and Karin Zoid. During these performances he was doing mostly pre-shows and back ground acoustic music with vocals.

Adriaan began singing from an early age starting in grade 2 in the Junior Choir, Senior Choir and making his way up to Acapella Choir in high school. Adriaan has competed in 5 talent competitions and won 3 of them. During those competitions he met various types of artists. Adriaan first started playing Sunday lunches at All-Star Theater four years ago.

Adriaan is not only an artist, he also does sound for weddings, bachelor parties, corporate events, bring and braais, pubs and clubs, and even the occasional divorce party! With Adriaan you get the best of both worlds with his acoustic and party vibe all in one! Adriaan meets all the requirements for any type of show you have in mind. He sets up his own sound and lights leaving less expense for the host.

Adriaan is also currently busy with his first Album which will be finished end of April. He is recording his own original music with the Procucer/Artist Lee Berg. The Album will have English and afrikaans songs. A lively, easy to listen Album which gives you exactly what Adriaan Krause has to offer.
