Eva Morgan

Desirè Hennings is a prime example of what the entertainment industry calls a ‘triple threat’ – an equally competent singer, dancer, and model. She has been singing and performing since she was a little girl in talent contests all over the Cape. Starting her career as a model for Topco Modelling Agency in her late teens, she graced fashion magazines such as ‘Sugar’ across Europe. However, her true calling to perform took precedence.

Subsequently, Desirè joined the vocal/dance group ‘Shine 4’ and toured some of the world’s premier stages, including performing with some of South Africa’s biggest stars at the Aukasi Festival in London’s Wembley Arena. After two years of shining on South Africa’s major festival stages, including Aardklop and KKNK, she decided to pursue a career of her own.

Desirè has since starred in over 20 productions, from Barnyard and Boma Theatres across South Africa to the biggest casino show stages, including Sun City, Emperors Palace, Carnival City, and Carousel. During this time, she also worked as the Vocal Coach at Fame Music Academy for two years, teaching a diverse range of students.

She has had the privilege of featuring on numerous recording artists’ studio albums and performing with notable figures such as Jamali, Ard Matthews, Denholm Harding from Just Jinger, and even delivering special performances for prominent celebrities like Nelson Mandela.

In October 2014, Desirè signed a recording contract with Eikonik Records, and her first two singles, “Because of You” and “Stick Around,” are currently available on various music purchasing platforms. Both singles have been receiving rotation on numerous radio station playlists across the country. Her third single, “More than Me,” is set to be released in mid-August 2015.

Desirè, now known as Eva Morgan, continues to perform at venues across the country, not only to promote her own music but also as a versatile cover artist, captivating audiences with renditions ranging from classic rock to modern pop. As she builds her digital presence, Eva Morgan is poised to leave an  indelible mark on the music industry.
